Two-day Verdi warning strike paralyzes buses in Schleswig-Holstein's major cities
From Wednesday to Thursday (8/9 September 2026), bus services of the municipal transport operators in Kiel, Lübeck, Flensburg, and Neumünster, as well as in the district of Plön, will be canceled. Verdi is urging around 1,800 employees to join the warning strike – no emergency services are planned.
Leipzig: Construction site on Prager Straße – tram and bus lines running as scheduled
From 7 September, Leipziger Wasserwerke is renovating combined sewer pipes and drinking water lines on Prager Straße between Gerichtsweg and Ostplatz. There will be closures for car drivers, but public transport is running as scheduled.
Czech Railways tests pure HVO fuel in RegioFox trains in regular service for the first time
