A fallen tree lay across the tracks of the U1 line on Tuesday evening at around 8:30 p.m. About 25 passengers had to disembark and walk back to the station.

Two-day Verdi warning strike paralyzes buses in Schleswig-Holstein's major cities
From Wednesday to Thursday (8/9 September 2026), bus services of the municipal transport operators in Kiel, Lübeck, Flensburg, and Neumünster, as well as in the district of Plön, will be canceled. Verdi is urging around 1,800 employees to join the warning strike – no emergency services are planned.
Leipzig: Construction site on Prager Straße – tram and bus lines running as scheduled
From 7 September, Leipziger Wasserwerke is renovating combined sewer pipes and drinking water lines on Prager Straße between Gerichtsweg and Ostplatz. There will be closures for car drivers, but public transport is running as scheduled.
Czech Railways tests pure HVO fuel in RegioFox trains in regular service for the first time
České dráhy is expanding its tests with biogenic fuels: Three RegioFox diesel multiple units from the Rakovník depot will in future run on fully biogenic HVO on routes in Central Bohemia. Due to construction work, all train services on the RB52 line (Rhön-Bahn) between Gersfeld and Fulda will be cancelled from Tuesday, 1 September 2026. The Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) will operate replacement buses. Passengers should expect restrictions – also because the short-notice changes have not yet been entered into the timetable information system.
