Munich S-Bahn opens new train driver academy in Steinhausen
Munich S-Bahn has opened a new train driver academy in Steinhausen. Around 100 apprentices and career changers, as well as around 800 existing staff, will receive regular training there.
Pinneberg station: DB delays completion of modernized site to late 2027
The modernization of Pinneberg station is taking longer than planned. DB now expects tenant handover in summer 2027 and a fully upgraded transport hub by the end of 2027.

Construction start for new Huntebrücke bridge at Elsfleth: DB plans completion by 2028

Official construction start for new Hunte bridge at Elsfleth
Deutsche Bahn is starting construction work for the new railway bridge over the Hunte. The structure is scheduled to be completed by early 2028 and replaces the old bridge, which was damaged by a ship collision in 2024.
